when and how will we be able to visit 300 closed New York attractions for free?
Every year, one weekend in October is dedicated to giving New Yorkers the opportunity to explore hundreds of significant and most noteworthy buildings and structures in all five boroughs of the city as part of the Open House New York (OHNY) campaign. Open House is an opportunity to see New York like you’ve never seen it before, according to Secret NYC.
Open House New York will be held for the 21st time this year from October 20 to 22 and will offer visitors a combination of in-person experiences, self-guided tours and digital content, inviting New Yorkers to discover and deepen their understanding of design by looking inside studios and factories. , rooftop gardens, historic homes, waterways and more.
To make this weekend accessible to all New Yorkers, the festival is 100% free to the public.
In addition to opportunities to see significant sites, OHNY will host more than 350 lectures, tours, special behind-the-scenes programs and more. This year’s program of events will be published on the website on October 5.
