“If two buses are involved in an incident, this immediately indicates a large number of victims who are likely to require medical attention,” said Deputy Fire Chief Kevin Murphy, noting that firefighters, ambulance workers and police, who were supposed to help the victims as quickly as possible.
Firefighters immediately began a rescue operation, they had to evacuate the passengers of the tour bus through the window. Medical workers sent the victims for examination.
According to preliminary information, there are no signs of a criminal offense, but the driver of the tourist bus will have to pay a fine.
