Tourist jumps off roof of New York hotel after fight with boyfriend
A Colorado woman jumped from the roof of a New York hotel after a violent altercation with her boyfriend on May 2, reports fox news.
Police have not yet released the name of the 20-year-old victim. Witnesses said they heard screams coming from the couple’s room on the 10th floor of the OYO Times Square Hotel. Boyfriend, 24-year-old Tyler Griffen, left bruises on the woman’s body after an argument that also endangered their 8-month-old baby.
During the argument, the couple reportedly walked out of the room into the hallway and onto the hotel stairwell. Witnesses say Griffen pulled the child’s arm sharply. As a result, he fell down the stairs to the 9th floor, where he was caught by another hotel guest.
The child was examined by doctors, everything is fine with him
It is assumed that after the fall of the child, the mother climbed onto the roof of the hotel and jumped off. Death was pronounced at the scene at approximately 22:30 on Tuesday (May 2).

Griffen is charged with assault, endangering a child, and causing harm to a child. Police say they have no reason to believe Griffen pushed the woman off the roof.
Griffen was taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors classified him as an “emotionally disturbed person.” The police may bring other charges against him after further investigation.
