Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a group of robbers who are wanted for breaking into 13 homes in Queens and Brooklyn, as well as stealing several of the owners’ luxury cars, according to Silive.
The robbers usually operate in groups of 3-4 in the early hours of the morning and mainly operate in the Whitestone area of Queens, authorities say. High-end car thieves also attacked homes in Bayside, Jamaica Estates, Bay Ridge, Holliswood and Manhattan Beach in Queens.
The robberies committed by the group, which is currently wanted by law enforcement, began in June. According to the report, the first report of the robbery came from a house near Point Crescent.
In July, the same thieves were successful in robbing nine houses in nine days: they managed to steal eight luxury cars. From July 21 to July 29, thieves stole an Audi SUV, a BMW SUV and sedan, a Range Rover, a Porsche car, a Mercedes Benz sedan, a Genesis sedan and another unidentified four-door sedan, according to police. The police found three of the cars stolen in July.
