The musician shared that achieving this feat was the fulfillment of his long-time dream and crossing off one of the items on his bucket list.

To climb, Leto used climbing equipment, and his safety was ensured by a special safety rope. In twenty minutes, he covered the space between the 86th and 104th floors of the eastern facade of the famous skyscraper, reaching a height of 390 meters.

He also stated that the Empire State Building has always been symbolic for him.

“As many of you also know, I love climbing mountains. It’s one of the few things that takes me away from the pressures of life and helps me find a little freedom and equanimity,” he said.
