August promises to be a real treat for New Yorkers thanks to a unique partnership between Amex and Resy. They have unveiled a new “Pick Up the Check” promotion designed to pamper gourmets with free dinners at several New York restaurants, Time Out reports.

Special free dinners from Amex and Resy will be available to New Yorkers every Wednesday. Reservations open on Mondays from 10:00 am. Diners will receive a $99 per person discount at participating restaurants when they make a reservation. To take part in the promotion, simply book a table at the restaurant using the promotional link.

• August 9 The action will be launched by the Joseph Leonard restaurant in the West Village. Booking tables for the promotion will open at 10:00 on August 7 at this link.
• August 16 special tables await you at & Sons Ham Bar on Lefferts Gardens Avenue. Reservation will open on August 14 at the link.
• August 23 Dinner will take place at the Chelsea Txikito restaurant. Promotional booking will open on August 21 here.
• August 30 — Tuome in the East Village. Booking will be on August 28 at this link.

Dinner in New York is expensive, so set your alarm every Monday at 9:59 a.m. to book free dinners. You can also set a Resy alert to be notified when a table becomes available.

But that’s not all good news for discount lovers and restaurants. American Express cardholders can receive an additional $15 off purchases of $60 or more at select restaurants on the Resy website through the end of August. The program includes 200 restaurants, including 27 locations in New York: Bar Pasquale, Eavesdrop, Forsythia, Peasant, Potluck Club, Wan Wan and others.
