In the center of New York, a man beat three people with a bottle
On Thursday, October 5, police arrested a man they say was hitting people with a bottle. The strange incident occurred around 6:30 pm at the Whole Foods store on Sixth Avenue, reports the New York Post.
The string of attacks began outside the Whole Foods store on Sixth Avenue across from Bryant Park when the 33-year-old suspect hit a 23-year-old man with a bottle around 6:30 p.m.
The attacker then entered the store, went up to the second floor, attacked a 49-year-old woman, and then disappeared into the street.
According to the police, the criminal went outside and went down to the subway at the intersection of 47th Street and 6th Avenue, where he hit a 55-year-old woman riding on the train.
The suspect, identified as Michael Howell, was detained by police on 46th Street. He was later charged with assault. All three victims were hospitalized in stable condition.
