Guests must arrive at the building at 6:00. They will be taken to the open-air observatory on the 86th floor of the Empire State Building. There they can watch the sunrise. After sunrise, visitors will have access to the Empire State Building’s immersive museum, chronicling the history of the building from its inception to its current role in pop culture.
The ticket includes coffee – Starbucks Reserve Empire State Building Microblend Coffee. And, of course, a specially selected selection of Princi pastries.

Aside from a swanky new Starbucks, the Empire State Building observatory itself recently went through a $165 million upgrade. As a result, nine galleries, staff uniforms and observatories on the 86th and 102nd floors were updated. The Empire State Building was voted the #1 attraction in the United States on Tripadvisor’s “Best of the Best” by travelers in 2022.
