On July 10, a four-year-old boy died after falling out of a 4th floor window of an apartment building on Farragut Rd in East Flatbush, Brooklyn, writes Pix11.
The witness said that she heard the screams of two women and a man after the fall of the child and saw how they tried to give him artificial respiration.
“They were hysterical, howling, saying the name of the child,” she said.
Caring neighbors, seeing the child under the windows of the house, urgently called 911. Passers-by also rushed to help, trying to provide at least some help to the injured baby. The child was taken to the Kings County Hospital Center, but the boy’s injuries were so severe that he died.
Ashley Lewis was riding in the back seat of her cousin’s car when she spotted the mutilated body of a child in an alley behind a four-story red brick building.
“I saw the body of a child,” Lewis recalled. “He had blood on his head. It flowed from the mouth, nose and ears.”

A spokesman for the building’s owner, Pinnacle Group, said that according to his documents, the window bars had been installed. A preliminary investigation showed that the child could have slipped through the security bars on the window.
Police sources said the fall was an accident and the officers did not have any suspicion of criminal activity. At the moment, it is unclear where his parents were, who was next to the child, and how this could even happen.
The family of the deceased declined to comment.
