A human leg was found in a trash can in New York: it alarmed the entire area
A severed human leg was found sticking out of a huge trash container in a bank parking lot in New York, the Daily Mail reported.
On the evening of Wednesday, September 20, a severed human leg was found protruding from a red trash container in the parking lot of a TD Bank in Queens. NYPD was called to 164th Street and Union Turnpike in the Hillcrest neighborhood around 6:30 p.m. after someone reported remains found.
It is not yet clear whether this part of the body belonged to a man or a woman, nor is it known where it came from. At this point, only a limb has been discovered, not the entire body. After the discovery of an unknown leg, the FDNY and NYPD were called to the scene.
Yellow police tape was installed around the perimeter of the bank and dumpster. A TD Bank representative declined to comment on the situation. The investigation is ongoing, as no details related to this macabre discovery have yet been established.
