Union Settlement’s Business Development Center’s “Buy Local Initiative” is excited to present the first Taste of East Harlem, a food and beverage event showcasing the diversity of the neighborhood’s culinary offerings. Held in Union Settlement’s “El Sitio Feliz” Community Garden, this three-hour event will feature East Harlem restaurants/caterers including Aromas Boutique Bakery, Sprinkle Splash, Sister’s Cuisine, Bitter Orange Café, Cassava House, Dear Mama, East Harlem Bottling Company and more! Over a dozen local merchants will be participating. Your dining experience will be enhanced by the music of Ochun Afro-Latin Band. East Harlem is a community full of multicultural flavor in food, culture and art. Bring your family and friends to savor the cuisine, and meet the chefs and culinary entrepreneurs who make “El Barrio” so special.
