Witness the Carnegie Hall debut of Regula Mühlemann, an internationally renowned soprano with a “crystal-clear tone you could drink” (The Guardian).
The recital opens with selections by Schubert, starting with “Viola,” followed by works by Strauss, including a rarely performed set of songs. The second half of the program comes from the early and late 20th century, with songs by English composer, conductor, and violist Frank Bridge, as well as Pulitzer Prize–winning American composer Dominick Argento.
