Calling all boroughs: get ready to rock the block with the return of MetFest! Our people-powered block party is back with live music, energizing performances, and artist-led experiences for all ages. Enjoy an afternoon of cultural adventures—from Afrobeats and global street food to hands-on art activities—all celebrating the creative spirit of New York City.
Drop by for an hour, or spend the whole day with us. Can’t join us in person? Watch the livestream of events on the plaza on October 21.
Open to all ages and abilities. Select programs are offered in English, Spanish, and Mandarin.
Outdoor MetFest events are free; indoor events are free with Museum admission. Museum admission is free for Met Members and kids under 12. For New York State residents and NY, NJ, and CT students, the amount you pay for admission is up to you.
Masks are strongly recommended.
