Whether it’s crossing the Brooklyn Bridge or traversing the Hudson River, the quest of getting to New York has been immortalized in song many times over. With help from the dynamic dancing duo The Uptown Belles, Dandy Wellington and his band will explore the songs that hail the five boroughs as a destination number one.
This program is inspired by our centennial exhibition, This Is New York: 100 Years of the City in Art and Pop Culture.

About Dandy Wellington:
Dandy Wellington is a bandleader, entertainer, event producer, and creative consultant, born-and-raised in Harlem, New York.
